RED IGUANA STUDIOでは、レコーディングやミックスの前段階として、スピーカーやヘッドホン、L/Rチャンネルの配線が正しく機能しているかを確認することを重要なプロセスと考えています。本ツールは、サイン波・矩形波・三角波・ノコギリ波・ホワイトノイズ・ピンクノイズ・サンプル音源を切り替えながら再生できる、シンプルかつ高機能なテストトーン・オシレーターです。周波数特性のチェックやスピーカーの動作確認など、現場で必要な基本の音出しを、ブラウザだけで手軽に行えます。
波形・周波数・チャンネルを自由に切り替えながらテストトーンを再生できるWebツールです。インストール不要でブラウザから即利用でき、PWA対応によりホーム画面に追加すればアプリのような感覚でも使えます。UIは英語表記ですが、直感的に操作できるシンプルな構成です。
画面上部のボタンから、Sine（サイン波）／Square（矩形波）／Triangle（三角波）／Sawtooth（ノコギリ波）／White Noise／Pink Noise／Sample 1／Sample 2 の中から音源を選びます。Sample 1・Sample 2はRed Iguana Studioが用意したサンプル音源で、選択している間はループ再生されます。
波形にサイン波などを選んでいる場合、中央の大きな数字の下にあるスライダーで周波数を自由に調整できます（20Hz〜20,000Hz、対数スケール）。よく使う周波数はスライダー下のボタン（20, 31.5, 63, 100, 125, 250, 440(A4), 500, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, 10k, 16k, 20k）からワンタップで呼び出せます。440(A4)はチューニング用の音楽的な基準音（ラ音）です。ホワイトノイズ／ピンクノイズ／サンプル音源選択中は周波数の概念がないため、この部分は操作できません。
L／BOTH／Rのボタンで、左だけ・両方・右だけを素早く切り替えられます。WAVEディスプレイの両脇にあるMUTE L／MUTE Rボタンでも個別にミュートでき、どちらの操作をしても表示は連動します。L・Rそれぞれの現在の出力レベルはメーターで確認できます。
CHANNELセクションの中央には、実際に鳴っている波形をリアルタイムに表示するディスプレイがあります。右上の小さいボタンで表示を一時停止（フリーズ）でき、波形の形をじっくり確認したいときに便利です。
WAVEディスプレイの下にあるLIMITER ON／OFFボタンで、出力の安全リミッターをオン・オフできます。ONの状態では出力が0dBFS付近で滑らかに抑えられ、歪みを防ぎます。OFFにして出力ゲインを上げすぎると、波形が潰れて歪む（クリッピングする）ことがあります。通常はONのままの利用を推奨します。
OUTPUTのスライダーで出力ゲイン（0〜150%）を調整し、PLAYボタンで再生・停止します。再生・停止時や波形切り替え時には自動でフェード処理が入り、クリックノイズを防ぎます。
本ツールはPWA（Progressive Web App）に対応しています。以下のURLからアクセスし、端末にインストールすることで、ブラウザの枠やメニューを排除したフルスクリーン・アプリとして利用可能になります。

注意：iOSはSafari、AndroidはChromeでホーム画面に追加してください。iOSでChromeを使って登録すると、アプリ使用中にスリープしてしまう場合があります。

At RED IGUANA STUDIO, we consider it an important step — before recording or mixing — to confirm that your speakers, headphones, and L/R channel wiring are all working correctly. This tool is a simple yet capable test tone oscillator that lets you switch between sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth waves, white noise, pink noise, and sample tracks. Right from your browser, you can quickly run the basic checks you need on-site — checking frequency response, verifying speaker operation, and more.
A web tool for playing test tones while freely switching waveform, frequency, and channel. No installation is required — use it straight from your browser — and since it supports PWA, you can add it to your home screen and use it like a native app. The interface is in English, with a simple, intuitive layout.
From the buttons at the top of the screen, choose a source: Sine, Square, Triangle, Sawtooth, White Noise, Pink Noise, Sample 1, or Sample 2. Sample 1 and Sample 2 are sample tracks provided by Red Iguana Studio, and loop while selected.
When a waveform like Sine is selected, use the slider below the large central number to freely adjust the frequency (20Hz–20,000Hz, logarithmic scale). Commonly used frequencies are available with a single tap from the buttons below the slider (20, 31.5, 63, 100, 125, 250, 440(A4), 500, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, 10k, 16k, 20k). 440(A4) is the musical reference pitch (A) used for tuning. Since White Noise, Pink Noise, and the sample tracks have no concept of frequency, this section is disabled while they’re selected.
Use the L / BOTH / R buttons to quickly switch between left only, both, or right only. You can also mute each side individually with the MUTE L / MUTE R buttons on either side of the WAVE display — either method keeps the display in sync. Current output level for each of L and R can be checked on the meters.
At the center of the CHANNEL section is a display that shows the currently playing waveform in real time. Use the small button in the top right to freeze the display when you want to take a closer look at the waveform’s shape.
Use the LIMITER ON/OFF button below the WAVE display to toggle the output safety limiter. When ON, output is smoothly held near 0dBFS to prevent distortion. If you turn it OFF and raise the output gain too high, the waveform can clip and distort. We generally recommend leaving it ON.
Use the OUTPUT slider to adjust output gain (0–150%), and the PLAY button to start/stop playback. Playback start/stop and waveform switching automatically fade in/out to prevent clicking noises.
This tool supports PWA (Progressive Web App). Access it from the URL below and install it on your device to use it as a full-screen app, free of the browser’s frame and menus.
